This is where you need to go get your setup email that was sent to you after your account was created.  If you do not have it, send an email to: stormer@stormerhosting.com and provide your invoice number from your receipt.

Your setup email will contain a section very similar to this:

FTP LOGIN:
ftp server:
yourdomain.stormer.org
yourdomain.com (when domain is pointed)
ftp username: yourdomain
ftp password: yourpassword ( case sensitive )

In the above example, replace "yourdomain" and "youpassword" with what is in your setup email.

From the last section "First Install"  you opened the program and saw the default settings.

You need to type in your settings from your setup email now.   See example below.

1. Where it says: Profile Name, simply put a description of your site.  ( Normally your domain name is sufficient. )

2. Where it says: Host Name/Address, this is where you put the ftp server information.
ftp server:
yourdomain.stormer.org
yourdomain.com (when domain is pointed)

Normally, you are given a temporary subdomain to use if your domain name has not been transferred over.  It is usually a yourdomain.stormer.org  url.

3. Where it says: Host Type, leave this defaulted to "Automatic detect".

4. Where it says:  User ID, put your username:
ftp username: yourdomain

5. Where it says: Password, put your password from your setup email.
ftp password: yourpassword ( case sensitive )

Now you want to check mark the

Be sure that this is unchecked

That's it!   Don't worry about any of the other "tabs" and settings.  You can explore those latter.  ( they are not required to know in order to connect to your account! )

Now hit the button.   Now hit the button.

You should now connect to your account on Stormer Hosting via ftp.

Its now time to move on the exciting part of uploading your files!  Lets move onto "After Login".
